The game has only been on sale just two weeks around the world (less one week in Europe) and there are already 7.7 million copies of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire out there in the wild.

This figure isn’t a sold figure, so that copy sitting on the shelve at Target still counts but it’s still quite impressive and well outperforming Pokémon X & Y.
