The Pokémon Company has announced a brand new Pokémon smartphone game for Japan. Called Pokémon Co-Master the game is a co-development with a company called HEROZ.

We’re not quite sure what game Co-Master is, ether its based on a traditional board game or if it’s something new.

HEROZ is not just a company but an artificial intelligence, it has been developed to learn and adapt to games and has even beaten some of the worlds best at the likes of Chess. HEROZ’s machine learning can and has also been applied to Shogi and Igo, Japanese versions of Chess as well as traditional chess games.

The game is due for release in ‘Spring’ 2016, which is soon for Japan.

You can find out more about HEROZ at their website.
