Pikmin 3 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf now coming Q2 2013

Some disappointing news out of Nintendo Direct, looks like we’ll be waiting a little longer for Pikmin 3 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf with Nintendo Europe head honcho Satoru Shibata announcing the games won’t be making it to Europe until Q2 2013. That’s April, May or June.

That means Pikmin 3 is technically no longer a ‘launch title’ for the Wii U with the game now coming after March. Animal Crossing: New Leaf also has vast amounts of text and game elements to localise as well and that’s the reason we’re seeing a delay on this one.

The good news in all of this? Both games are still going to be amazing we think. New Pikmin 3 footage was shown off during the Japanese Nintendo Direct and it’s come up a treat.

my first comment made using my new Wii U, shame about the delay especially for New Leaf, but there will be so much text to translate, it’ll be worth the wait, New Leaf incredibly is ruling Japan. This is by far my most gotta have game.
