Nintendo expanded its specialised retail presence yesterday with the launch of The Nintendo Connection in Myer Sydney

Yesterday marked a special occasion for Sydney-siders, as Nintendo have opened the ’Nintendo Connection’, a new area dedicated to themselves in the heart of the city, Myer City that is. Located on the sixth floor of the building, the area showcased their newest Wii title, Wii Fit Plus, along with Wii Sports Resort and a variety of DSi demos were on show with both Professor Layton games and many of the Touch! Generations catalogue.

To celebrate this glorious moment and the release of Wii Fit Plus, Nintendo has offered the first 50 people who wait in line for the grand opening to receive a goodie bag with Wii Fit Plus (sans Balance Board), along with other neat things, and for those who managed to be the first 3 people, they were awarded a brand new Wii console, along with a Wii Fit Plus bundle.

We were there to take some pictures, take a look below!

Thanks to Kirby102 (Billy) for going and skipping Uni, bless!
