Overlord Dark Legend announced for Wii
Codemasters is bringing the Overlord franchise to the Wii. Its not a port of the 360 game either, but an entirely new one built from the ground up. The game puts you in command of a new Overlord in control of the latest batch of evil minions. The game subtitled Dark Legend will have an entirely new story line filled with tongue in cheek humour from author Rhianna Pratchett. More inside When released on the Xbox 360 in 2007, the game drew much inspiration from Pikmin; not from character design, but in how you control your minions. However, instead of using the second analogue stick, Overlord will take full use of the Wii Remote. According to Codemasters you will be able to pick up individual minions from your horde and shake them around, as well as control their movements. The game is still a while off and is looking for a 2009 release, but should be another one to look forward to.
