Oops! At least one Harvey Norman is selling the SNES Mini early

Someones gonna be in trouble! A photo was sent to us this morning showing a fresh SNES Mini picked up from a Victorian Harvey Norman store this morning.

The SNES Mini was allegedly ordered as pick up in store and well, they picked it up. Will this mean other stores now start selling? Unlikely as we’re sure Nintendo’s ninjas are already onto it.

Still, would be nice if it happened. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Nintendo Classic Mini is out this Saturday in Australia.

Thanks to those who sent this in.

I rang up my local EB asking if they knew anything about this. Said unless they hear from Nintendo themselves they can’t do anything, I’m not sure how strict Nintendo are on their street dates but I get the feeling they’re not too lenient about stuff like this.

Omg does that mean it will be released early everywhere?

I’m not expecting to get my SNES Mini before Saturday. I wasted a lot of time on that console back in the 90’s.

I pre-ordered mine over 4 months ago from EB Games, and on release day, no delivery! Guess I’m going to have to wait until Tuesday now, as it is a public holiday on Monday! Not very happy about this at all! 🙁
