Official Headset for Nintendo DS shown off.
At a product fair for dealers in Japan today Nintendo showed off a headset for the Nintendo DS. The headset plugs into the mystery hole on the DS, and will work on the DS and DS Lite. Having the headset will greatly increase the ease and quality of voice chatting on such games as Metroid Prime Hunters, Tony Hawks Down Hill Jam and the upcoming Pokmon Diamond and Pearl.
The Headset will be released on the 14th of September for 1,200Yen ($13AU). No word yet if it will make it to the west or even Australia. No pictures of the device have surfaced but we expect them soon.
