Resident Evil 7 is unleashed on the world this week, but of course it’s not coming to the Switch because it’s been in development for years.
So what about future Resident Evil projects, or an eventual port of this game or even a port of Resident Evil 4 (come on you know it’s gonna happen). Well it’s not looking good.
Producer of Resident Evil Masachika Kawata has said in a new interview that the company doesn’t have any plans to bring the horror franchise to the Switch. However like many developers he does have nice things to say about the console itself;
“I think it’s a very unique piece of hardware. I’m looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch.”
Well scratch another franchise off the list.
