Nintendo will “have a big E3 this year” says Reggie

Over the last few years Nintendo’s showings at E3 have been well, a bit a weird. We’ve had digital events, no conferences and then the entire year dedicated to just Zelda last year.

So what do Nintendo have in store for this year? They’ve got a hot new console in the Switch and the 3DS still has life in it. Speaking in a new interview Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has said fans can expect “a big E3” in 2017;

“E3 is always a big time for Nintendo. We look at each E3 as a unique opportunity to tell our story. And we’re gonna have a big E3 this year. We’re going to be showcasing a variety of games. We will have experiences for… consumers will be able to attend the show for the very first time. So I’m not gonna tell you all of the various games and all of our little secrets for E3, but I can tell you that E3 is going to be a major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch, but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS.”

What would mean a ‘big’ E3 for you? Let us know in the comments.

    I don’t want to build up the hype or anything, but Nintendo need to have a killer E3 aka like 2014, to make the switch compelling for the non-nintendo fanboys…bring on the games!
    That said, I fear that third party support isn’t coming like I hoped…if there’s no call of duty at the very least then I’d be sad lol
