Nintendo Switch firmware update version 2.1.0 now live

by Daniel VuckovicMarch 28, 2017

The first post-launch firmware update for the Nintendo Switch is now live. Your system should just start downloading it in the background and let you know when its ready to install. It updates the system to Version 2.1.0.

Don’t get too excited it doesn’t do much;

General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience

Exciting, CNET must be pleased.

    Woo that sweet sweet stability. Good to see the torch being passed from the 3DS on these updates lol

    We’ve had two system freeze crashes so far on the old firmware when exiting games so hopefully that gets addressed

    Ah great! I kept having my console fall and trip whenever anything nearby happened, much like that video. This update should help its stability a lot!
