Nintendo sued over patent violation. Again.
Nintendo are being sued yet again over an apparent patent violation. The company, Hillcrest Laboratories, believes that its motion control technology is being used in the Wii. Surprise, surprise, the company wants money; and if that wasn’t bad enough, they’ve decided to try and block the import of the Wii and Wii remotes in the US. Nintendo’s spokesperson Yasuhiro Minagawa was unable to comment, as Nintendo had not received any notice of the lawsuit. When these lawsuits will stop is anybody’s guess. Source: Bloomberg
