To quell the “Why haven’t we heard anything more about Online” talk, Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch Online service will now launch in the “second half” of September.
Fear not, you’ve at least got a couple more weeks to play everything online for free. Then you can start nagging Nintendo again.
There's also a Direct in June, but no Switch successor there.
