Nintendo has released their latest financial statement, with the company taking home 98,378 million yen for the last fiscal year (ended 31 Mar, 2006), up 12.5% from last year’s income.

Head inside for more results. Nintendo has also forcasted a net profit of 65 billion yen for the remaining of this fiscal year (ending 31 March, 2007).

Nintendo also revealed sales units for all their recent consoles including DS, GCN, and GBA.

DS (includes DS, DSL)
Japan – 6.91 million
The Americas – 5.11 million
Other – 4.71 million
Total – 16.73 million

GBA (includes GBA, GBA SP, Micro)
Japan – 16.55 million
The Americas – 38.10 million
Other – 20.48 million
Total – 75.13 million

GCN
Japan – 4.00 million
The Americas – 12.17 million
Other – 4.68 million
Total – 20.85 million

Nintendo also released software and hardware forcasts for their upcoming home console Wii, Nintendo DS (including Lite), their Game Boy Advance range and GameCube:

Wii
Hardware: 6 million
Software: 17 million

Nintendo DS (includes Lite)
Hardware: 16 million
Software: 70 million

Game Boy Advance (includes GBA, GBA SP, Micro)
Hardware: 2.5 million
Software: 30 million

Nintendo also revealed a few sale results for some games:

Nintendogs (All versions) – 6.65 million units
Brain Training titles (Japan only) – 5.10 million units
Mario Kart DS – 4.22 million units
Animal Crossing: Wild World – 3.56 million units
Mario Party 7 – Over one million units
Pokmon XD: Gale of Darkness – Over one million units
