Nintendo has just posted a really neat tool to create your own Super Mario Maker themed wallpapers which actually uses a replication of the game.
Pick either desktop or mobile, then pick between Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World or New Super Mario Bros styles and levels and away you go.

I just did a simple iphone background using the SMB3 template. I wonder if it’s possible to arrange it so you can have sprites surrounding the app icons. Like having Koopas and Goombas crawling around them.
