Nintendo registers Power Wii trademark
Could this be a speedier new console or just a marketing campaign? Or nothing at all?
While still actively denied by Nintendo themselves, clues pointing towards a potential Wii HD continue to surface. New trademarks submitted by the Japanese branch of the company number among these, which you can see below:

What a "Wii POWER" or "POWER Wii" might be is anyones guess at the moment, although there is a fair chance of it just being a new promotional name. Regardness, heres hoping it ends up better than the SNES peripheral with a similar title.
Could also be the second coming of the forth hourseman of the republic of the new daughters.
