Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has given an update the Switch pre-order situation. Kimishima has said that status of Switch pre-orders thus far is ‘good’ and that Nintendo plans to ramp up production of the Switch.

Two million Switch consoles will be made available for sale at launch, most of which appear to be selling out quite quickly. Pre-orders are still open at most Australian retailers but the situation in Japan and America is quite different with many stores now sold out.
