Nintendo has raised its sales and profit forecast for the current business year, the reason? That damn Nintendo DS just wont stop selling. Nintendo says sales have now totaled about 966 billion yen for the year ending March 31 which was up on its forecast of 900 billion yen.

Nintendo attributed the higher sales to the widening appeal of the DS and the Wii, seems selling game consoles to people other then the traditional male teenage audience is beneficial. Source: NeoGAF
