Nintendo open up WiiWare to more indie devs, more advertising
Nintendo’s WiiWare service has yet to be the haven for indie game developers that Nintendo promised back when it was announced, nor has the service been pushed or advertised by Nintendo a great deal. However, that could all be about to change. Admitting the service is not perfect, Nintendo is looking to open the service up. WiiWare is not magic, and digital is not perfect. I think that theres more that Nintendo can do to support (WiiWare games). This year, Nintendo will increase resources for development and promotion. – Nintendo of Americas Tom Prata. Nintendo also plans to make the DSiWare service as prominent.
