Nintendo has struggled since launch to keep the Nintendo Switch in stock in both the United States and Japan. Today, at least as far as the Japanese market is concerned Nintendo has offered both an update and apology for the shortages.

Nintendo now say they’ll continue to ship more and more units each week. July and August will see a shipment increase, including the new Splatoon 2 bundle. Nintendo will then continue to ramp up production for Christmas.
