Nintendo E3 Presentation date and time confirmed

All aboard the hype train! Next stop: Los Angeles, California! Woo wooo!

Nintendo of America had already leaked the date of the presentation via a competition on their website, but they have now confirmed the date of June 15 with the event getting under way from 9am PDT.

Below are the equivalent times for our side of the world.

2:00am AEST, June 16
1:30am ACST, June 16
12:00am AWST, June 16

The presentation will be held at the same place as last year – the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California – but the interesting thing is that it will last two hours as opposed to the usual one hour of previous years, and that can only be a good thing.

Nintendo is expected to shed light on a number of things, including the 3DS handheld, the next Zelda instalment on Wii, plans for the Wii Vitality Sensor and much, much more.

Vooks will be live-blogging the event and we’ll have pictures soon after. Plus our own member Josh will be travelling to LA to cover it all and providing a first-hand report. Expect hands-on impressions on the Nintendo 3DS and whatever else Nintendo decide to reveal.
