Nintendo DS topples the PS2s record in UK
The records keep tumbling as the Nintendo DS breaks another one in the UK, and this time its a big one
The Nintendo DS is now the biggest selling console in the UK reaching and surpassing the Playstation 2. The handheld has sailed past the console with 10.5 million DS units now in the hands of people in the UK. The Playstation 2 currently sits on 10.2 million consoles. The Christmas shopping period is not over yet either, so expect the gap to widen even further.
With the DSi hitting full steam and the DSi XL hitting next year, we don’t think the DS is going to slow down any time soon.
