Nintendo Download Updates (17/4) A Golden Update
Huge Easter weekend update.

Warning, this week’s update contains a lot of great updates! Whether you’re looking at sitting back on the couch and downloading something new for the Wii U or out and about on holidays with your Nintendo 3DS there should be something here for you.
First off on the Wii U. Two more great GBA games, Golden Sun more so than F-Zero but when Nintendo hasn’t released a game in the series for more than a decade we’ll take what we can get get.
There’s also a couple of discounts, Giana Sisters is probably the only one worth looking into really though.
3DS owners, you’ve got a little more to select from. New on the store is Nintendo Pocket Club Football, it’s a less complicated version of Football Manager but instead filled with Nintendo charm. System 3’s Putty Squad is also releasing, it was only announced like a billion years ago – guess someone could be finally bothered to finish it.
Finally Mario Golf fans be sure to check out the demo of the upcoming Mario Golf World Tour. Nintendo is even doing a promotion on the eShop for the game where you could get the Virtual Console version of the GBC installment for free.
Note: The Australian eShop now updates at 9pm WST / 11pm EST each Thursday night. Some games may have a different release date however.

It really is a shame about the VC pricing. I loved Golden Sun and played the absolute hell out of it back in the day
If I really want to play it, I know exactly where my GBA and Golden Sun cart is but it would be nice to play it on a bigger/slightly bigger screen (TV/GamePad), but 9 for such an old game, it’s a bit much and could be emulated on a PC with at least as many features as the VC version.
I guess it’s good at least that they’re cheaper than the SNES games…
I downloaded Golden Sun and pretty much played it the entire weekend. Such a cool rpg. Part 2 when?!
