Nintendo Download Update Return of the Viking Jedi

That made no sense, but this weeks updates do WiiWare and DSi Ware get a refill as does Virtual Console

We’ve been blessed for the last month or so with Nintendo’s Digital offerings, except for that whole not getting Lost Winds 2 – but hey we can’t have everything right? (Yes, we can, and we should). Anyway, this week is unsurprisingly lacking in Lost Winds. Alright, I wanted to mention it again.

Little Tournament Over Yonder – 800 Points

A turn based strategy game set in ye’olde Medieval times. Check out the trailer here.

Heron: Steam Machine – 500 Points

Played Pipe Mania, or those hacking mini games in Bioshock? That’s pretty much what this is except with steam. It’s playable for four players as a point of difference.

Virtual Console

Super Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi (SNES) – 800 Points
The last instalment in the Super Star Wars trilogy of games for the Super Nintendo. Probably the game people have been most hankering for this week.

DSiWare

Wakugumi: Monochrome Puzzle – 500 Points
Another puzzler for the DSi this week, and from puzzle masters Mitchell Corp who also developed Polarium. This one sees you moving black and white blocks around until they’re surrounded and they disappear.

Viking Invasion – 800 Points
The iPhone has ten billion of them so it’s about time the DSi got a tower defence game, one with a Viking theme no less. Everyone knows how to play Tower Defence games, so I won’t bother explaining it.
