Nintendo Download Update: Bit Trip Fun

by Daniel VuckovicMay 14, 2010

A packed week this time, and were getting something before the US

Its a big week this week, each of the three platforms gets something new. One of these is so new, infact that the US doesnt even have it. How often does that happen?

That game is of course Bit.Trip Runner from Gaijin Games. The latest in the series of the retro inspired rhythm games. Some say this one is the most addictive one yet and at 800 points, how can you say no? The other WiiWare title is actually some DLC for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, its only 100 points and you get the last episode from the DS title. Up to you if you think its worth it.

There is one new Virtual Console game this week and that is semi-sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbours. That, of course is Ghoul Patrol for the SNES. The game like all SNES games on the Virtual Console is 800 points.

DSiWare brings two new releases. We do miss out on 3 games, but the ones we do get are the ones worth worrying about. Fire Panic is this weeks second retro inspired game and it puts you into the role of a big sweaty and hunky fire-fighter. Well alright, maybe not, but for 200 points can imagine you are. Second title is AiRace Tunnel and its received a price drop on its way from the US to a mere 500 points. AiRace is like the tunner racers of old and is stylus controlled. Check it out.
