Welcome back to another week of the Nintendo Download Update! We nearly went this week with only the Wii U getting goodies, but… well, let’s get into the nitty gritty of it, shall we?

The Wii U is a growing boy, so it’s good it’s getting the meat this week. SteamWorld Dig is hitting the eShop this week, with Nintendo fans already familiar with the title from the 3DS release a while back. And if you are, awesome! You get a discount. New to the whole thing? Read our review of the fan favourite here, then go grab it! The other new release this week is the GameBoy Advance installment of Mario Golf, so you can take golf with you wherever you go! As long as you stay in the living room, of course.

The Wii U is also getting that Mercedes Benz DLC you’ve heard the internet groan about, but hey, it’s free! Also worth mentioning is the Mario Kart 8 patch coming alongside the DLC, adding an on-screen map, among other features. Zen Pinball is also getting a few more tables, each with a free try before you buy option.

The 3DS makes for a tough paragraph to fill, with only the one GameBoy Virtual Console making it’s way to the eShop. Mega Man 5 makes the most recent addition to the catalogue, making for a very sleepy week on the 3DS.
