Nintendo Conference delivers new Games, Big Announcements

Nintendo has held its fall conference in Japan today and like most we were not expecting much. Nintendo, however, has delivered the goods this time by annoucing a ton of new games, release dates for Wii Ware titles, a Final Fantasy game for Wii Ware, DS Demo Station for your own Wii, Sonic being in Brawl, and more. DS News

  • Fire Emblem DS footage shown, Dragon Quest 9 footage shown

    Wii News

  • Quick footage of Wii games were shown including Mario Kart, Famicon (Battalion) Wars and Wii Music and announcement of Mario Baseball Wii!
  • Monster Hunter 3 announced for Wii
  • Wii Fit out December 1st, 8800 Yen. (~$83AU)
  • Mario Kart Wii to feature with motorcycles, packaged with steering wheel shell, Spring 2008
  • Sonic Confirmed for Brawl!
  • – Nintendo plans to start a service centre to help people set up the internet at their home. This will allow people easy access to get their Wii’s online.

    Select Wii Ware Games Announced

  • Star Soldier R and Doctor Mario new versions for Wii Ware
  • Wii Ware Kicks off in March 2008 (for Japan at least)
  • Square-Enix Wii Ware only title “”Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles – Little King and the Promise Country”” only for Wii Ware and will be 1500 Points (offical site)
  • Hudson also announced Joysound a Karaoke game for Wii Ware as well as a new Bomberman (Hudson)
  • Namco Bandai announced Mojitan for Wiiware (PR)
  • Pokemon Ranch is also announced, Transfer you Pokemon from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl to the Wii and it raises Pokemon for you.

    New Channels

  • DS Demo Station Channel is called “”Everybody’s Nintendo Channel”” – Will allow you also to recommend games and tell people whats worth buying. Has a catalouge of Wii and DS games with Trailers.
  • Changes to Everybody and Internet Channel (more info)
  • Check Mii Out Channel in November for Japan
