Nintendo Australia drops the price of the Nintendo DSi
Just a day before the release of the XL, Nintendo has announced a price drop for their normal sized system.
The Nintendo DSi will drop to a retail price of $249.95 from today tomorrow, the same day the XL releases.
When Nintendo Australia announced that the DSi XL was going to be the same price as the DSi here we were a little shocked, but in a good way. Everywhere else in the world the DSi XL is more expensive than the DSi. We thought perhaps a price drop was on the cards.
So has Nintendo thrown a spanner in the works for those contemplating a buying an XL? With the DSi now being $50 cheaper. Let us know in the comments if this affects your plans!
Update: The price change will actually take affect from tomorrow.
