Nintendo apologises for lack of Nintendo TVii in the UK

Please be excited.

Remember Nintendo TVii? It was that service that was meant to change the way you watch and engage with TV shows.

Japan and America have been enjoying the service but for those of us in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and well the rest of the world we haven’t been so lucky.

For the first time since launch Nintendo has commented on the service, specifically about the service in the UK.
We would like to apologise that we were unable to bring the Nintendo TVii service to Europe in 2013 as originally planned.

Please continue to keep an eye out for further announcements regarding this service in the near future.
It’s also quite possible that even though we get lumped with Europe for most online Nintendo services that TVii may not even launch here when Europe get it either.

Guess Nintendo have had bigger issues with the Wii U to worry about instead.
