Nintendo of America is hosting a major Wii U event next month on September 13th. It’s for the press so that means it’s near certain that the system’s price and release date will be announced at this event.
Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America’s president is hosting the event in New York City and the last time he did such a thing the Nintendo 3DS release date and price was announced. This also happened the time before that when Reggie showed off the Wii back in 2006. History usually repeats itself, but you never know for sure.
This date also falls very close to the reveal of the Wii date and price for Japan and Australia which took place on September 6th and September 15th just under 6 years ago. Remember when we said that earlier in the week?
It’s coming folks, lets hope the other Nintendo branches are hosting something too.
