Virtual Console

Nintendo America does what it damn well pleases with VC releases

Think youre annoyed with the releases Australia gets on Virtual Console? Then put on the shoes of North American Wii owners, SNK, Capcom and Hudson; all of which where told that they would be able to enjoy (or sell) Samurai Shodown II and the long awaited duo of Mega Man and Ys Book I & II, only to have it pulled from them at the last moment. More inside Nintendo issued Sonic the Hedgehog for Master System and Splatterhouse II for Megadrive instead. These games are not exactly bad and certainly if worse choices had been made one might feel more betrayed. Nintendo has responded to the changes with;

A number of variables can affect a games release date. Therefore, the Wii-kly Update is the only authority for confirmed release dates of Virtual Console games.

So in a nutshell, Nintendo has decided to not only mess with its customers but its band of fellow publishers. Makes about much sense as Wii Music, we think.
