Nicalis announce Crystal Crisis a puzzle-fighter with Isaac, Quote and Astro Boy

Nicalis has announced a brand new puzzle slash fighting game with an all-star cast.
Crystal Crisis is a colour matching puzzle game, but when you clear blocks you fight it out with a cast of characters made up from not only Nicalis’ other games but also the likes of Astro Boy. The announced cast so far is;
- Quote, Curly Brace and Ballos (from Cave Story+)
- Isaac (from The Binding of Isaac)
- Atom and Black Jack (from Tezuka Productions)
- Princess Solange (from Code of Princess EX and Blade Strangers)
- Aban, Tina and Jim Hawkins (from 1001 Spikes)
- President Thompson and a Zombie (from The Tempura of the Dead)
- Akuji (from Akuji the Demon)
- Knight (from Hydra Castle Labyrinth)
- Johnny Turbo (yes, the notorious TurboDuo spokesman)
There are also some characters in the game yet to be announced from Nicalis games under development.
The game is out later this year and like other Nicalis games, the first print job (at least in America) will have physical full-color manual and goodies included. Hopefully, when the game is picked up for Australia by presumably Headup, we’ll get them too.
