Next batch of Japanese DSiWare games detailed
Unlike the weekly schedule for Virtual Console and WiiWare games, Nintendo taken a different approach with DSiWare titles by group a bunch of titles for release every month or so. Next week on the 25th , DSi owners in Japan will have nine games and/or apps added to the store. Now we say apps because at the bottom of the totem pole, on 200 points, Nintendo is adding two calculators to the store. One a Mario Bros. theme, the other Animal Crossing. But wait theres more!
Not only can you calculate maths (shock, horror) but it also has a temperature, weight and distance converter. Joy. Another 200 point app is the ‘Mojipittan Clock’, yep… yet another clock. At 500 point mark, thinks start to get slightly better, two new Art Style games making an appearance. You can check out how they will run in the embedded video below.
Also for 500 points is ‘Chotto Asobi Taizen: Onajimi Table’, another ‘Chotto’ version of ‘Club House Games’. This week games include: Reversi, Hasami Shogi, Go, Shogi, and Hanafuda. The final 500 point peice of this week’s software is: ‘Chotto Bungaku Zenshu: Sekai no Bungaku 20’, which means 20 Classic Books to you and me.
Last but not least is the 800 point titles, first up is Ide Yousukes Healthy Mahjong DSi which is also released WiiWare. Because of that you can actually verse people playing the WiiWare game on the Dsi version. This also allows you to use your Mii on the DS when you play. The game also features a local multiplayer component.
And here it is, the first 3rd party title on the server; Chotto Mr Driller It appears to pretty much be the same as the Mr Driller title that was previously on the DS but with the addition of Mission, Time Attack, and Driston modes.
Remember, well have impressions and video of most of these games (yes, including the calculator) for you next week.
