The Games Convention in Leipzig is underway and Nintendo is stil; speaking on the topic of “”Expanding the definition of gaming”” and has revealed some interesting Information people living in Europe, and also some interesting information full stop.

– Pink and Blue DS’s to be released in Europe. (We annouced Aussie Release’s for these DS’s to come out on the 22nd of September along with Nintendogs)

– A “”Play Yan 2′ to be released for Europe, no further Details were given just the name.

– A Nintendo Catalogue was given out at the show and it featured Animal Crossing DS in it with a “”Headset”” Icon, Could this game now include voice chat as well?

– Mario Kart DS to launch November 11th in Europe! Whether the Online will be ready by then they did not say but you can Assume!

– Wifi connection will be very easy to use : no passwords, no entering IP’s etc.

– Wi-Fi hotspots to be implemented in stores across Europe

– Gameboy Micro to Launch 4th November at 99,99 Euros. Launching in several Colours, Gray, Blue, Green and Pink (99 Euroes is $160 Aussie Dollars about right to the price I received days ago.)

– Nintendo announced a Mario Smash Football bundle (pack contains White GC and Mario Smash Football) for Europe.
