Nintendo has released a Wii update to the OS, however we dont know what its for. When the Update is finished it simply states that the parental controls have been added.

So what could it be? Its only a .1 increment update so any new features are probably ruled out. Im sure Nintendo will tell us eventually but we can now confirm that this still allows you to change the region of your Wii to purchase UK games.

So far we only have confirmation that this update is available for PAL users.
