New Miiverse details coming in Nintendo Direct before Wii U launch
With the US launch of the Wii U is just 18 days away there still so much more about the Wii U we don’t know. One of the big items is of course Miiverse. The online system hasn’t been talked about or demoed by Nintendo since E3 in June, we think its about time we heard from Nintendo about it.
So does Satoru Iwata.
At the end of Nintendo’s investors meeting this week Iwata took questions from investors, as he does after every meeting. He was asked whether Nintendo see smartphones as an ally or enemy and how Miiverse relates to them. Iwata answered the question but then also revealed that they would be sharing more Miiverse details in another Nintendo Direct episode before the Wii U launch.
You know what that means, expect another Nintendo Direct real soon. Along with Miiverse there is still more about the Wii online services, eShop and more to be revealed. Bring on the next Nintendo Direct.

This is what I’m waiting for before I decide whether to preorder or not. Hopefully they show us something reasonable.
Miiverse already looked very awesome but I’m glad to see that they are going to at least give us a more in depth look on the concept. Very hyped indeed.
