New 8Bitdo adapter makes wired GameCube controllers go wireless on Switch

The genius folks at 8Bitdo have created a new adapter for the Nintendo Switch. It allows you to connect a number of wired controllers to it, and make them wirelessly connect to the Switch.
It’s called the Gbros. and you’ll be able to use your wired GameCube controllers as well as all the NES Classic, SNES Classic and Wii Classic controllers (if you really wanted to) on the Switch. Clearly created for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in mind, the adapter will even release on the same day as the game.
The adapter is up for preorder on the US Amazon website, it says it ships here – but if it actually will we’re not sure. The adapter is a mere $20US.
