Mutant Mudds has received classification in Australia

Mutant Mudds has been available on the US eShop since late January of this year. It’s finally received classification here in Australia, meaning we should hopefully see it sometime soon.

For those who aren’t familiar with the title developed by Renegade Kid (the guys behind Moon and the Dementium series for Nintendo DS), it’s a retro throwback to the platformers of old. So if you’re a fan of classic 16-bit platforming it might be worth getting exciting over this development. Check out this trailer if you want to get a better feel for what the game is like.

I’ve been waiting for this game. Should be great. Definite buy for me.

Speaking of… when is Dementium II going to be released in Australia? The first one was released over a year after it was classified, and it’s been over 2 and a half years since Dementium II was classified here! Was it given an unofficial grey import release that I’m not aware of? Was it ever released at all? I’d rather not import if they bother to release the game locally (and I don’t see why not as the classification fee would have gone to waste).
