I really didn’t get into MH3 on 3DS and to be honest this excites me even less. BUT, being the Nintendo lover that I am I will of course purchase it and have a crack! However this DLC does little to excite me about the game. Sometimes cross-overs just need to be left alone.

Monster Hunter 3 Tri was better than Ultimate :/ It had awesome Barioth (Which got severely nerfed in Ultimate), didn’t have a completely pointless Low Tier of armour to craft, had optional side quests to do, had Capture quests for online multiplayer, DIDN’T significantly nerf the health of monsters when the quest involves killing/capturing more then 1 and the Player markers and map in general couuld be seen from the couch (In Ultimate the player markers are teeny tiny and the map was map translucent instead of opaque, it also featured awful checkerboard effect for water).

Ultimate also features a severe downgrade to textures compared to Tri (But it has Dynamic shadows! Oooooh amazing!!!! RIGHT?! NO!) and abysmal water surface appearance.
