Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate roars into Australian stores on March 23rd
Nintendo Australia this morning has announced the Australian release date for Monster Hunter Ultimate 3 on the Wii U and 3DS.
As expected it’s just a day later than the European date (feels good saying that) and it will also launch in New Zealand on the same date. The game will be available to purchase in stores but also on both the 3DS and Wii U eShops, like the rest of the world we too get the demo of the game on the 21st of February.
While the Wii U version is able to be played online like the Wii version was, the Nintendo 3DS version is missing this, however voice chat is in for both versions of the game.
Nintendo has provided us the same trailer we got last night, but also a new opening cinematic for the Wii U version.

Excellent news! But where’s our confirmed Luigi date?
From what other media sources are saying, the Wii Monster Hunter Tri servers will be shut down about a month and a half after this launches…which would be around the start of May…
This is pretty nice though, seeing that we get the game only 1 day after Europe.
Since when did NAL start releasing games on Saturdays?

And you can thank Gametraders for that. If they hadn’t broken the street dates for Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 3D Land, we’d still be getting games two weeks after Europe. I doubt Nintendo Aus would ever figure out that we were mass-importing games from Europe if Gametraders hadn’t done it. 😉
Simply can-not-wait! Ive been playing old Wii games while waiting for some new titles to come, this is on my must have, Followed by Pikmin 3 in April! Ahhh
Great news! I would buy it locally just to get it at launch but it depends on price of course. Otherwise it’s ozgameshop for me.
Ermahgerd definitely getting it i bought MH3 Tri on the Wii out of a whim on its launch date and feel in deep sensual love with it. Although it did ruin me i literally spent 12 hours on it from morning to night forgetting to eat…. cant wait for round 2 XD
