Vicarious Visions have announced Mixed Messages- a multiplayer-only game coming to DSiWare. The game works like a text- and picture-driven version of Chinese whispers and Charades. Players using a single DSi are to communicate only using a Pictochat-like drawing interface to use picture to determine what the initial player was thinking of. Vicarious Visions are no strangers when it comes to Nintendos handhelds and claim that the DSi was the only platform capable of producing the experience they were after. More inside The big problem was that although the game itself was pretty small in terms of file size, it really needed a lot of rewriteable flash memory to store all the save games. There was no cartridge available at the time for Nintendo DS that could support that save game file size the game needed.”” said Karthik Bala, CEO of Vicarious Visions in an interview with IGN. Mixed Messages is yet to receive a release date on the Aussie DSi Shop.
