Miles Edgeworth sequel wont be getting an English release
Capcom cites translation costs as a key reason
Capcom have terrible news for anyone who was hoping to play the sequel to last years law-em-up spin-off, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth; the game wont be receiving an English translation, or a translation into any other language, for that matter. The key reason for this, explains Capcoms Christian Svensson is that the cost of translating such a text heavy game would be "higher than the forecasted return."
While usually when a sequel doesnt get released in Western countries usually fans expect the worst and assume that the entire series is dead for the Western world, however, according to Svensson, this isnt the case: "I said Investigations 2 isnt planned to come on NDS to the West. Ive said nothing about the franchise as a whole."
And now we must wait for Capcom to announce Ace Attorney Invesitgations 3, whenever that may be…
