While Americans didn’t get the smaller New 3DS model they have had the exclusive on the Red New 3DS XL model, up until now.
On August 27th the Metallic Red New 3DS LL model will be launching in Japan. It joins the same Metallic Blue and Metallic Black models we have as well as the Japan-only pearl white model.
Hopefully we see this new colour reach Australia (or at least Europe so we could import) soon. Would you like the Red New 3DS XL?

Really disappointed that they didn’t design the new XL to have cover plates. Colours seem so boring in comparison. Size matters when it comes to screens sadly.
Honestly, i think the standard Dark Blue and Black colours are better. I kinda wish they’d had the same colour buttons as the non-XL new designs though.
Americans will now complain that there colours are not exclusive to them any more and they still dont have the small one lol
