Pokemon Origins just broadcast in Japan and during the breaks a couple of Pokeomn X & Y news bombs were dropped.

The next Pokemon to get a version exclusive Mega Evolution is Charizard. We already know about Mega Charizard Y, not revealed is a much meaner and bluer looking Mega Charizard X. He’s a Fire Dragon type and he looks like he’s going to kick some ass.

Mega Charizard X will evolve when combined with the Charizardite X item. It’s only available in Pokemon X, if you have Pokemon Y you can only evolve your Charizard into Mega Charizard Y.
