Mario Tennis Aces free to play for Switch Online subscribers for one week in Australia and Europe

Nintendo announced earlier in the week that Japanese Nintendo Switch Online users would be able to play Captain Toad for free, for a limited time. Now Nintendo has announced that we will be able to play Mario Tennis Aces from the 7th to the 13th of August for free instead.  The program in the west is called ‘Game Trials’.

That’s the entire game, free for an entire week. You can even pre-download the game now and get playing right away.

With Japan getting Captain Toad, and Europe now with Mario Tennis Aces – will we get something different? What’s to stop us downloading the game from the other region eShops to try out anyway? Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

What do people get who bought it for full price and were disappointed by it’s lack of depth and replayability? On the one hand it’s great that they do this stuff but it’s a slap in the face if you already own a game.
