It wasn’t mentioned in tonight’s Nintendo Direct presentation, but in a press release Nintendo has revealed that Mario Party: Island Tour has been delayed until early 2014.
Nintendo has said that the delay was to ensure the optimum gaming experience for players when the game launches in early 2014.

It’s OK becuase there are so many other games to play from this weekend through til January. Hopefully it means they fully flesh out the online multiplayer! Unlike Mario Tennis.
