Mario Maker moves to second half of 2015

Nintendo has moved Mario Maker to the second half of 2015. The new release date comes from the supplementary release of yesterday’s financial reports. These reports always have a schedule in them are games can be moved around with no announcement on them.

Mario Maker was originally set to release some time in this half of the year, the previous financial statements and talk from Nintendo said as much as well.

Yoshi’s Woolly World and Project Giant Robot (whatever that turns out to be) are still on for this half of the year. Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush is sadly still on track for the second half of the year for some stupid reason.

Oh and if you were wondering, Dr Kawashima’s Devilish Brain Training: Can you stay focused? is still on there as TBA for Europe.

Devilish Brain Training was released in the U.S. nearly 2 years ago, and it was classified for release in Australia nearly 2 ½ years ago. They must be having a hell of a time translating all of those Sudoku puzzles for the European market. =P

Ordinarily, I’d wish that they would just give us the U.S. version, but for once, I’m anticipating the European version, as it has pretty much retained the original Japanese title, which had the word “Devilish” in it. =P

hmmm, it is going to be a packed 2nd half of the year again. I’m really looking forward to playing this one with my 4 year old that just loves all things Mario (still plays 3D World as his main game :D). I’m sure my son will love making levels, coz he dabbles with SMW and SMB3 on the VC and he enjoys games like The Incredible Machine 😀
