MadWorld hype train of mis-information starts rolling!

by James MitchellAugust 12, 2008

Even though MadWorld isn’t set for release until at least next year, people are already harking up about it’s ultraviolent nature. John Beyer, a director of MediaWatch-UK, has stated that the game “”sounds very unsavoury””, foolishly admitting to a lack of any knowledge of the game outside word of mouth. He then goes on to state that he hopes the BBFC, the rating body for Britain, does not classify the game. More inside This is just wrong – can’t developers make games for their respective audiences? Or is it just that the release of such a violent title for the Wii, a family friendly console, is causing more controversy? Would the game get different treatment if released for, say, the Xbox 360? Discuss it on our forums.
