We’re usually not one to post rumours or unconfirmed information, but when something so detailed pops up like this – it’s hard not to pay it some attention. As always, take it with a grain of salt.

An employee listing has been discovered by the YouTuber Doctre81, the listing shows a designer from Bandai Namco Studios in Singapore working on both a First Person Shooter/Adventure title coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch. While it doesn’t say Metroid, First Person Adventure is the term Nintendo uses to describe Metroid Prime titles.

This is where the plot thickens as the listing details some of the work done on these games, including ‘UI design for the transition between original platforms to new modern trends’ which may point to a possible Metroid Prime Trilogy port instead of Metroid Prime 4.

How do we know it’s not another First Person Adventure title? The listing also mentions ‘Regularly presented pitches, storyboards, design directives, and gameplay to both Nintendo Headquarters and Bandai Namco Entertainment Group.’. We’ve included a screencap below;

There’s also another entry and that’s for Ridge Racer 8, which at this stage hasn’t been announced. The listing also mentions this is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.

We’ve included the video below, see what you think and let us know in the comments.
