We knew that the upcoming amiibo figures would work in Hyrule Warriors, we just didn’t know how… until now!
Announced during this morning’s Nintendo Direct, the Link amiibo figure will unlock the Twilight Princess spinner to use in the game. This great but under utilised weapon will have you mowing the lawn of enemies in no time.
But wait there’s more, every other ‘Smash Bros’ amiibo will also unlock a random weapon, material or rupee when scanned into the game. Not quite as exciting as the spinner but still proof that amiibo’s can be used over multiple games and series.
