LEGO City Undercover’s load times are better on Switch, but still take a while

With LEGO City Undercover now in stores in other parts of the world and in the hands of the public, we can now see just how much better the game looks on the Switch.

Luckily it looks fine, but the promised improved loading times are still not great. The initial load and when you enter and exit a building are still huge and in some cases still nearly a minute long. Some other loading screens have been eliminated within buildings but it’s still pretty bad.

LEGO City Undercover is out next week in Australia on the Switch, are you still going to wait the extra week and pick it up?

Sadly, the load times were what turned me off this game on the WiiU…. even made the game freeze/crash a few times…. Don’t think I’ll be re-investing into this again, which is a real shame, because I love open world and Lego games.
